Which I think is the telling sign this is potentially it for them.
The major European banks are down pretty heavy today in response with several reportedly having trading halted.
If the Saudis were smart, it seems a great idea on their part instead of propping up failing European banks they were to establish their own since they’re so flush with cash. I’m assuming sharia law related to finance is reasoning here, but if they’re owning large portions of banks and/or supporting them as they have CS, sort of seems moot.
