Can we just enjoy the season and accomplishments of LSU 23 without disparaging others who gave their best effort to our team?

He seems like he was a good dude. If I knew him personally, I might miss seeing him around . As a baseball coach, not really

Can you just not enjoy the season without shitting on the former coach?

So you saw the other thread shitting on Mainieri and decided you would just create a new one and say the same exact thing? Does it make you feel better to pretend he’s not a top college baseball coach of his time?

I was a Mainieri defender up until late 2017 when he made Sean Ochinko the hitting coach…wasn’t Ochinko’s fault but he had no business in that role.

Fast forward to 2018, 2019, 2020 and LSU continued to miss on middle infielders with no back up options.

Great coach and person…should have won in 2017.

The talent started to really drop off from 2017 to 2021

I don’t miss the hitting approach and definitely not his pitching coach, but I’m thankful that he either directly delivered, or got commitments from, players like Dugas, Morgan, Crews, Neal, Jones, Thompson, Kling, Jobert, Frey, Floyd, Guidry, Pearson, Herring, Moffett, Coleman, and Taylor.

Considering the first 3 hitters in our lineup are because of PM I don’t see how you can hate on him.

Fortunately, Dylan Crews didn’t shite on him like our fans did

If you need attention this badly, just get a gerbil instead of shitting on someone better than you.

I don’t really ever think about Mainieri. Why are you? He retired 2 years ago.

But last year people were beating the hell out of our new BB coach. Now he's better than sliced bread. What a flip flop. Probably will be beating up on the girls BB coach before long.

I’m just enjoying the season. Although I am a bit thankful that my mind doesn’t go as often to having fried mozzarella sticks as a snack.

What's behind you can't hurt you ..... live in the today and your future will be a welcome path.

Coach Maineri was a good man and loved LSU... move on.
