Lol. Unless this person asks or seems interested in learning, I’m not doing that in mixed company. I’m also not the friend that butts in and lets them know how my ways are far superior to theirs. They probably realize that but are looking for every avenue but the one I’m on.
They’ve traveled with me and know what it looks like to choose healthy on the menu, to squeeze in a little workout in a daily routine. They know because they comment on it and say “I just wish I had your discipline” while making little jokes about my routine and what I order. I have helped several friends when they genuinely want it. I set their macros, send them tons of recipes and examples of meal schedules, what to order at certain restaurants to stay on track, workouts to do based on what they’ve got access to.
But I’ve learned my lesson inserting myself like this with my real life friends. Probably similar to doctors trying to tell their patients, they don’t want to hear it and say my life is extreme when in reality, it’s not at all. It’s just got a shred of discipline and that’s the reality of what they’re avoiding. Discipline, accountability and consistency.
Honestly, its never been easier to get fit with the access to healthy recipes, online workout videos; etc.
