They are a legitimate place to buy from but can have some higher premiums in their metals. Shop around any of the large online sites ( SD billion, Monument Metals, etc) for the best price. Or check out your local coin shop.

I bought about 10k worth of gold, platinum, palladium and silver over 10 years ago. Barely breaking even on all of it after all these years.

Having said that, they were easy to deal with. But as others have said, the transaction prices are high...but I don't think that's unique to this vendor.

Silver and Platinum are 50%+ down from the last ATH in 2011. Beyond a waste of money.

Inflation hedge that is worth less than half of that non-inflation adjusted fiat from over a decade ago.
Sounds like the greatest “wealth preservation” in US History.

Embarrassing.

When you factor Gold (up) and Palladium (way up) you get a more balanced picture.

I'm down overall but certainly not 50%. More like 8%.

It's a small amount of my portfolio.

I already have a small amount of silver - 1 Silver Eagle and 2 other silver coins. I've just always really liked the gold AEs and I have some free money so I'm buying a couple. It's not really an investment - it's just something I want. Ordered 5 the other day.

Apmex is a very reputable dealer …. I have had multiple purchase experiences with them and they have been reliable. They have one of the most extensive inventories

I also recommend Kitco Metals, BGASC, and Provident Metals … although their inventories are smaller

I've had good experiences, but it's been awhile. Prices and service were good. Easy to buy and sell.
