I want people who have just a modicum of knowledge about civics, current political events/topics, maybe, who was the first president of the US……., not vote for me and I’ll give you some other peoples hard earned money.

No it doesn't.
It means we want people who are allowed to vote to actually understand how our government is suposed to function.
You should have to pass a basic civics and American history test in order to vote.
Hell, just use the test for American Citizenship to qualify to vote.
If you cannot pass it, you DO NOT deserve to vote.

Your dumb arse probably thinks voter ID laws are racist.
