PGA Tour vs LIV Tour guys

As we know, $$$ is generally behind all decisions made by both of these tours. Do you think there's a possibility of a Ryder Cup style competition between the members of both Tours? That would be fun to watch and could get chippy af.

It would be awesome but it won’t happen because the PGA Tour won’t legitimize LIV

Might as well. The entire Europen Ryder Cup is playing for LIV.

Yea but none of those guys will get to play in the actual Ryder Cup now which sucks

Feels like you're omitting some prominent guys who are still with the PGAT

Even if they were, only Sergio and maybe Paul Casey would have a shot at making the team. Meanwhile Rahm, Rory, Fitz, Hovland, Lowry, and Hatton are on the PGA.

That great honor didn't even faze their Captain from jumping ship.

If they ever happen to come to mind, maybe you could fill in the gaps for us.

Oh I don't know just 2 of the current 3 best players in the world
not to mention Fitzpatrick, Lowry, Hovland, Fleetwood, Rose

You have me wondering what the PGA crowd would say about most of them if they each deserted to LIV.
Lowry - Another example of the players headed to LIV. Won a few PGA tourneys and a major but is on the downside of his career.
Fleetwood - Who is surprised by this guy running to the LIV money? Never won on the PGA and is a forever bridesmaid.
Rose - Another European warhorse that is well past his prime. Wanted to ride off in the sunset with his Old Ryder Cup buddies.
Now tell the truth, isn't that the way it works?

I predict a reconciliation between the 2 leagues if LIV can survive. But that is dependent on LIV jettisoning Greg Norman. He has made himself so toxic, the PGA will never make nice with him.

Don't look now but Greg and the gang don't seem to be begging for the privilege.

A lawsuit says otherwise.

He’s 35 and is ranked 19th in the world

Yeah, about where Dustin Johnson's demographics lie with a lot less hardware to show. And he too was on the downside.
You have to remember how tough the PGA crowd was grading during the mass exodus.

It’s just crazy to me how many of the LIV fans like yourself make horribly disingenuous takes.
Yes, some people on the PGA Tour side like Brandel Chamblee do the same thing. But it’s almost like you use one PGA mouthpiece as a reason you should be allowed to make terrible takes yourself.
Shane Lowry has played a couple poor tourneys this season, but his last year was maybe the best he’s ever played for a full season.

The PGA Tour officials will not try to prevent any current members from playing the Ryder Cup for the U.S.
The Ryder Cup is a PGA of America event, not the Tour.
The European Tour has already given their blessing to LIV members.
