I thought this would be a good gift for my wife to get a family photo off of her phone made into a “painting” to hang in our house. I don’t know shite about paintings or definitely these websites and I’m trying not to get razooed. I’m seeing prices from $50 - $250

I never knew this existed. Time to start working on my Christmas list by ordering ridiculous oil paintings.

Contact on of the local photo studios. Anyone with a basic knowledge of Photoshop can do that. There are actually some presets that can copy a style of many different famous painters.
Good luck….it can be amazing what the final image will look like.

I’m curious about this as well, there was an instagram add that popped up on my feed. It looked good on phone. Wonder how good it looks in real life.

She’s in a separate photo because she’s so big. The photographer didn’t bring the wide lens

Etsy. I had one done for my dad’s birthday last year. Paid for the service & digital file on Etsy, then had it printed on matte paper at Walgreens & framed it. Came out great.
Edit: It was actually a water color painting not oil.

I’ve used Great Big Canvas and Canvas Discount. I actually liked Canvas Discount better bc of their online editing tools and their customer service. One of my canvases came back a little darker than I expected (probably user error) and they replaced it at no charge within 3 days.

I have an app on my phone that does that called Prisma. You just need to get your photo to the phone via email or some cloud based storage (Google Drive). I made some really cool prints with it.

Get Adobe's Photoshop Elements 23 and do it yourself.

Used this place before, they take your image and edit as much as needed and print it on canvas. Not quite a painting, but it looks similar since it is on canvas instead of glossy photo paper.
Can get it framed or in a gallery wrap.
