They took off just as a line of thunderstorms was moving through Little Rock. Pretty sad. If they just looked at the weather they'd still be alive.

They were CTEH employees. An environmental consulting firm.

Hate to be part of the private aviation company and mets that gave them the all clear on this takeoff if CTEH used one.

They took off at 11:56 am. Here's the radar up to 11:40 with the line moving into Little Rock. Definitely had get-there-itis and didn't want to wait if they were aware of the line.

and just waited a bit, the weather we had here moved through in less than an hour

They could well have been headed to palestine. Remediation.

Was in north little rock today and went to lunch about noon. Went from a few drops to heavy rain blowing sideways right about noon. Locked my truck and was in no hurry and was like a water hose turned on. It came in very fast.
