Think it's a smokescreen or are we about to use #40 on hooker?

It makes sense to me that they'd do something like that really

No smokescreen, they just giving %90 of this board something else to bitch about and claim if Payton, who fricked the franchise, was still coach we wouldn't be in this situation. He'd be starting his franchise Quarterback he drafted, is it book or Grayson?

Without the knee, he’d be. top 10, so I’m okay with it.

if saint draft history teaches us anything, it is that they will give up future #1 and pick 29 to trade up to get the same player they could have just picked at 29

and whoever they get will be a reach project player that may not even make the practice squad

Yep … will quickly become the #1 selling jersey in Louisiana. If NO doesn’t take him, the Raiders should.

Probably putting that out there to put pressure on Carr

I’m fine with it. Hooker’s main knock is the offense he played in at Tennessee doesn’t translate to the NFL but the NFL is going more towards the college game with teams using the spread and DB heavy defenses. I watched a few of their games and he just gives that winner vibe sort of like Burrow. Great teammate and is a team captain with a big arm and solid dual threat ability. If we bust oh well. I’d rather try and fail than just keep signing veteran trash guys.

Good players with ACLs and the like are drafted in the first all the time. If hooker is that guy, he will still go in the first
