People fought for New Orleans.

They lost.

The demographics have shifted so far in NO and BR, that they are not save-able.

People didn't fight for either. They moved to the suburbs which is how they got where they are today. Can't say I really blame them.

I understand this fatalism, but I think it’s self-defeating, and I hope that we soon turn the corner and start to see all of these problems as our problems to fix.

All of this lack of law enforcement and victimization narrative and all the rest goes hand in hand with the broader takeover by a mindset and people who want to destroy what our forefathers built.
