My only memory of NOLA and visiting the FQ is driving in to see a collapsed building with corpses in it to greet me, the endless smell of piss and stale beer to ease through while you are seeing the sights, and crappy sugar bombs called drinks. It’s a city where I watched multiple people let their dogs take a crap on the busy sidewalk and just kept on walking. Could not even be bothered to pick up their own dog shite in what was considered a nicer area of the city
