I am an honest dude.

I really thought with Wade's success and bringing in Kim would drive that together for both programs.

I just know me - I wanted MBB to be consistent. NCAAT is my bar. Sure, a deeper run every few years. We didn't ask for the sky. Literally... when ppl use literally correctly.

We collectively as LSU basketball fans thought we're likely NIT material. Instead, this is where we are.

Blame coach, players, does it matter? We just talk over each other in ways and lots of people have an angle. I said it before and I will said it forever, I just want LSU basketball to win consistent and be relevant.

That's a fair point. The results are bad, the key is to figure out the best path forward.

I had hoped MM would do well here. I do feel very hopeful now.

I know a lot have compared him to Curly in football, saying he had his previous success due to 1 player, I even thought that may be true and made the comparison. But upon closer review, the comparison is very flawed. McMahon actually spotted Morant's talent and signed him even though he was 600 miles from Murray State's campus in another state. Farve was an hour from Southern Miss. Also Hallman went to LSU immediately after Farve left whereas Morant had his best season at Murray State after Morant left.

I typed all of that and still, I do not feel hopeful
