Could have gotten him for peanuts a few weeks ago and would have solved a 3 point shooting need. JS.

You knew he was going to score 120+ in 3 games 3 weeks ago?

No but I knew he could shoot from the outside and wasn't getting minutes. You certainly lose defense with him on the court though.

Edit: Jaxon Hayes could have prob done the trick.

Willie would hate Cam Thomas

No defense, takes up a 2 shots per minute played.

1. Why would the nets want Jax?
2. Their current roster needs guys that can't go get a bucket. You know... a guy like Cam.
3. This isn't 2k. You can't just throw a name out there and expect a team to trade them to you because you want them.

Awful, awful fit.

We need a guy who doesn't need the ball in his hands and can shoot 3s.

A guy like Cam Thomas is exactly what we do not need.

How do you know we could have gotten Cam Thomas for peanuts?

I like Cam, have defended him on this board...Do we really need another ball dominant, score first guard? Our starting lineup has 3 guys in it who are excellent offensive creators. Jose off the bench is great with the ball in his hands. JV is a good offensive big man. Just not sure the fit is ideal.

you have to take those geauxmer glasses off and think about this logically. three weeks ago, he was unproven with no indication he was going to go off.

OP thinks because Cam Thomas was available in fantasy basketball then that means the Nets were willing to trade him.

Nets knew they were blowing the team up, why would they trade one of there few good young players?
