Obviously CJ has been great too but damn Nance is currently an essential piece for our playoff run.

If they hadn't been so motivated to move salary it might have cost a little more on our end, but it wasn't really a throw in in my view. The trade was CJ and Nance for Grant and Hart. A fair value trade that got both teams what they were looking for.

nance could not have been in the trade without the $17MM trade exception the pels received in the adams/bledsoe/graham/JV trade
