Yes

frick no. We’re overrun. I shoot multiple every time I go out there and my leasing tenant smokes a few a week. I got fed up and I’m just drilling them with the Creedmoor from across the pasture now.

This will never be enough. You have to trap whole sounders and stop putting food where they can get to it. Sorry to say, it’s expensive.

Just south of Abilene.

We’re actually not feeding at all this year because we had to boot the guys that we were leasing to. I’m wondering if less activity on our place and everyone else hunting like normal has them running my way.

Interesting. Do you have a lot of water on the property?

Good bit for the cattle. But it’s not a shite load.

Sorry if mentioned, but any chance of it being impacted by the Mississippi and other waterbody levels where they have access to new rich and fertile ground?

Good point. They certainly love the mud

We are south of Abeline about 70 miles.
In 21 we killed more than 30. 22 started hot. 8 feeders with 15 to 20 every night. Killed 10 or so. Drought hit and they vanished. Mid September they showed up again. Just about every feeder 10 to 15 a night. Killed a few and then stopped for bow season. They have pretty much scaled back again. Lots of tracks in the fields, but staying away from
The corn. They are there, just changing pattern
Where abouts? Our place is about 55 miles south of Abilene near Santa Anna

I saw more than ever on the public land I hunt. I have seen well over 100 and only got the opportunity to shoot 3. I can't get away from them this year.

That sounds like a blast tbh

Chipola LA We had about the normal amount.
Our numbers were low until deer season started. When the corn started flowing they came out the woodworks. I personally don’t use corn so I’m not seeing them, but for the people around me that are it’s been crazy. Groups of 20 or more

I’ve seen zero while hunting. I’ll get them on camera at my one feeder but it hasn’t been nearly as bad.

Except I can’t seem to put a dent in the population and they’re tearing up already stressed pastures.

Plenty of them in East TX…they are rooting up our pastures. Got a Pig Brig trap a couple months ago. It works well!

I'm over run with them in st helena. And they're out every night except the nights we "hunt" them from the box stand with green led lights on our rifles. They don't show themselves during daylight.
I had way more deer around last year and the year before, pretty sure they bolted because of these dang hogs.

Nope. South GA, we took probably close to 450 in 2023, including a trap full on Christmas Day.
