She said they thought some of the money was used to partially to run the parish because they had little or no federal funding. They were making good ground on following the money In the 80`s about the time of the courthouse burning and the death threats. She said lady by the name of Marie Loyde was one of the leaders of the heirs involved and had to take cover because of the death threats. The lawyers involved were also shittin in their pants and kind of faded away after that supposed court ruling.
