Wow! That movie totally weirded me out when I was a kid. I think it came out in 1972 or 1974 if I recall correctly.

1972, made for TV with Cornel Wilde - IMDB link and still the best gargoyle flick I've seen. I've got a copy on VHS somewhere in storage. Kinda strange with all the retreads that Hollyweird does that they haven't done more with this topic.
