They all know. They all liked him until Trump started going after him publicly, at which point the blood oath kicked in. They've now concocted this WEF thing to give them air cover to trash America's most conservative and successful governor.

TBH it doesn't bother me that they're playing this game, it's just annoying that we've got to go through the motions of pretending it's a genuine concern instead of a political hit. They can't own up to it, because it would require them to acknowledge they've sworn fealty to the man.

DeSantis talks a good game and is being allowed to run Florida well. I fear there's dirt on him related to Dubya's Gitmo torture. His overseers will not allow him to "walk the walk" as President. He's compromised, like John Roberts, Hastert, Boehner, and the rest of them.

Nah. The ground game should be the end, not a means to an end.

Does he care? Should we? I know the media would be all about it, but would it resonate?

He breaks the cultural codes of conduct all the time. Some scandal with him directly involved in torture of a detainee seems like a very 00s thing to worry about.

Spot on.

And the corollary is also true - if Trump starts to like something that the MAGA crowd previously disliked, the MAGA crowd will do a complete 180.

If Trump came out tomorrow and said he would make sure Critical Race Theory is taught in elementary school, the MAGA crowd would instantly put Woke Baby in their amazon cart.

MAGA doesn't think for themselves and has no critical thinking skills - which is why it's a cult.

No it isn't. And you will never win this by trying to convince people he is not. They are literally involved.

Meghan McCain Stumps for Ron DeSantis.

Y’all are blowing this waaay out of proportion.

There is not one Trump supporter on here or probably in the country that wouldn’t vote for DeSantis if he won the nomination.

On the other hand…there’s plenty that would hand the Dems a win if it means voting against Trump or not voting at all.

It's not true and you know it. I personally talked about who he starter associating with way before Trump attacked him.

There is no blood oath. Trump was not here before us. Trump did not create us. We were here making changes way before Trump. You got the cart before the horse sir.

It's all in black and white sir. sorry you can not handle that.

Again. not true.

We all had hope for DeSantis. We still hope he pushes away those people.

Not at all. I believe, with all my heart, that your primary motivation here is to serve Donald Trump the human being and your loyalty is foremost to him above all other national/political concerns.

I don't think this is true. These guys literally went from "DeSantis will take us forward in 2028" a month ago to calling him an WEF traitor today. This is how it always goes with them. Once Trump starts in on someone they become the enemy of the Trump contingent until/unless Trump reestablishes friendly ties.

It's why JJ and others advocated for Democrats to win in Georgia.

Desantis' backers and mega donors are WEF globalist, period.

Desantis has been captured by the establishment.

And?

Should DeSantis be an idiot like Kari Lake and tell McCain people to go to hell?

You can't very well say that's marching orders when people are looking for themselves Petti.

Are you wanting people to just be quite and let it go?

No. He should continue to be who he is. Then we can all decide what we want.

What Ron should do to demonstrate that his non-globalists bona fides is campaign with Steve Bannon and then criticize everybody he ever hired.

He'll definitely win the swing states then.
