I’ve got a Cairn terrier. And she’s a great dog. Great personality and interacts well with people.
About 100 years ago the black ones (Scottish) white ones (west highland) and brindle (Cairn) were separated into different breeds. They are all 3 great breeds and very similar.

We've got a Westy, she's hilarious. Anytime she goes out the door, it's time to kill shite. She lives for it.
She's good in the house though, never tears stuff up, easy to train, she's not a lap dog though. Not overly affectionate. Every now and then she likes to play fight though, and she'll make you wonder if she's serious or not.
