Wife and I wanted to take a trip with no kids for her birthday in September. Settled on Boston. Send us your recommendations on places to stay, things to do, etc. Fly in on a Thursday and the Sox are hosting the Yanks. Will try to make that work, but no plans other than that.

I’d look to stay in the back bay/ copley square area. Central to most everything and just a great area. Download the 2$ app and walk the freedom trail(better to do at your own pace rather than with a tour group)... Get a lobster roll and a bowl of chowder @ saltie girl. . I’ll bump the big thread for you that Abita fan made that has an asspile of good info. Boston is great !

I recently stayed at the Harborside Inn which was a fantastic location for me personally as the harbor was located across the street. Faneuil Market was less than 3 minutes away and the Italian District was maybe 10 minutes away. Freedom Trail had a spot 5 minutes away but it was not the start.

Paul Revere House was exactly 7 minutes away from where I stayed

The wife and I stayed at the Bostonian back in October. Its right in the middle of the freedom trail and within a block of Union Oyster House, Bell in Hand Tavern, and the Green Dragon. I highly recommend it.
