9-3 with a chance to win 10 games in a New Year's Day Bowl

Not too long ago we were excited to play in the Independence Bowl

The other coach had a 4 & 5 loss season in 5 years

I agree that if Jumpin Jehosphat Lee is our only QB option, then 9-3 would be an extraordinary season.

With a chance to play Texas, OU, or TTech in the Cotton. Great.

No sense in trying to talk sense into this group, and to think they actually make fun of bama fans. Should be the other way around

Will you feel the same way if we go 7-5 and to the I-bowl? We still have to beat Ole Miss and Arky...neither of whom will lay down. Plus, our team is probably a little down. Lots of inner turmoil and blame going on between coaches and players. Regardless of what they say in public, it has to be there.

I would have taken 9-3 before the season, mindful of the QB issues. But losing to Bama like that made me sick.

That would be the worst thing for us. We need to hope for the Peach bowl. It would be better for us to play an ACC team.

I highly doubt it. the turmoil is at the QB position. Most of these players and coaches were on last years team.

I saw people moved to tears over LSU getting into that bowl game! If you'd lived through the Hallman years, you'd understand. Like the Great Depression, or something.

But he is a dumbass and I'm glad he is gone. We may have been 8-1 with him, but would always be one late night scuffle from breaking in the back up QB.

Sooooo we should accept mediocrity?

9-3 is a good season when you play 12 great teams. But we've played 2 great teams and 1 pretty good team and lost to all three.

It's not a GREAT season, but I'll take it.

Heck, this isn't EA Sports College Football where we make sure LSU goes undefeated for the next 13 years straight.

Can anyone tell me (in the past 15 years) who the last SEC Champion was that started a True or Red-Shirt QB.

My prediction is that we will kick a$$ in the 2010 season. And go to Arizona to win it all again.
