10 years old at the time and those last ten minutes I was nervous as hell. The greatest sporting event I watched. I can still remember it like it was yesterday.

I was 13 and feel the same way. Still a big misconception about that game is that most of the younger generations think that was the gold medal game. In reality, that USA team had to go on to beat Finland a few days later to win the gold.

I was 16 and remember someone telling me about it while watching Zebra playing in Rummel's gym.

Final minute

I love the way Michaels just let the crowd noise speak for itself at end.

If you let me choose one sporting event in history to back in time and actually go to the game, it would probably be this one.

Greatest moment in Olympic history. That Soviet team was the most dominant team in the history of team sports - until that game.
