Alonzo Jackson Junior season highlights
Diamond in the rough. 6’2 200lbs, older brother CamRon Jackson played at Memphis and recently transferred to Florida. His Uncle, Kendrick Jackson played Fullback for Arkansas so he has a very good blood line.

Wasn't CamRon a one time commit to LSU?

Yes, I believe LSU backed off. Not sure if it was due to grades or what. CamRon was more of a project coming out of high school, as he was still sort of growing into his body and a little uncoordinated. Alonzo is much more developed at this stage, as he lines up at RB, WR, and LB. I think LB is the most natural position for him at the next level.

Not impressive film against the lowest level competition. Since everybody is so critical on this recruiting board, oh are you related to him?

No relation. Just a graduate and fan of Haynesville. The majority of these highlights are against 2a and 3a schools. The kid can play trust me. I wouldn’t waste my time posting his highlights if I didn’t think he was good enough.

Buddy, just take a break for a bit. You're now trying to shite on other potential recruits and attacking "the board" in other people's threads.
If the people's comments in your thread upset you this much this may not be the site for you. Glad you're a passionate lsu fan but just chill a bit.

Reminds me of Queen in the way he plays.

I know about haynesville, my school beat yall last time yall made it to state. So I know majority of the time he doesn't see above average let alone elite competition.

Very high praise to be reminded of Queen! Alonzo lacks that quick twitch that Queen had, but he has long limbs and very strong lower body. Once he gets his legs stretched out, nobody can catch him. There were times where guys had an angle on him, and he still out ran them. I believe he’s a hidden gem and LSU needs LBers.

I get what you are saying. I liked the speed at LBer off the edge to the QB. The RB highlights just looked slow. I am not sure if he is slow after seeing him rush the QB. Could be the angle of the film. Some of those sweep plays were long around the corner. I am sure if the coaches offered he can play.

I respect your opinion. He may be SEC material and he may not. I’d rather him get recognized and evaluated by LSU than slipping through the cracks and winding up somewhere else. Especially with LSU’s need for LBers.

I'm not getting emotionally, I'm from the desoto parish area so I know about Haynesville. The same 4-5 teams are at the top of 1a every year OG,Homer,Kentwood,Logansport, and Haynesville. I'm just given my opinion like yall did on my thread using every variable to do so.

Yea I'm not bad mouthing Haynesville at all yall are one of the most storied programs in the state. I've played there before great atmosphere with people who live and breathe football. So many titles. One thing about me I KNOW football at all levels. The kid's a good athlete I'll give you that. But not elite.

No offense taken brother. Like I said, I respect your opinion. Just want the kid to get a little exposure. It’s not always easy for athletes from small towns like Haynesville and Logansport etc. to get exposure. He still has one more year to get better. He made a huge leap from sophomore to junior year and will be even more improved his senior year.
Posted on 1/25/23 at 2:36 pm to Lsu56
He's more elite than that running back from Lufkin.

Lol I'll let the stars and the offer list do my talking about "said RB".

Yes it is Logansport always had talent, now that Mcgee is the coach we typically send atleast 1-2 do players to college every year. Thanks for your post
