I lost my mom at a young age. My dad was in and out of prison for DWI, then ran off rather than go back to jail for longer. But in between those times he taught me a few things and told me, if anything, to use him as an example of what not to be. That stuck with me, and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without him.

Thread is hard to even read. I had a good 38 years with him. Wish my kids could have known him better. And I have a 3 year old boy that will never have known him. Sucks
