Thanks. This is very helpful. We are actually planning to do 2 nights at a nearby place on the beach. Haven’t booked that leg of the trip yet but glad to hear 3 days in Cartagena isn’t too much. Appreciate it!

If you have the time, Tayrona was amazing. If you're not looking to rough it, you can stay in the ecolodges to the east of the park or Taganga on the west side. I will say that Taganga is known for tourist targeted crime but if you're not dumb you'll be fine
