They clearly didn't credit Alyona for her double layout. Surprised they took that long too finally do it. I know multiple SEC coaches put in complaints last season
Maybe it will be an incentive to finally change the dismount but doubtful
Not happy about the score but personally Jay needs the message sent to him. Alyona's routine looked way improved but they need to ditch the DLO

I am glad they gave alyona a score that low…the dismount is crazy and needs to be addressed. Also glad we had a great rotation!

Her double layout isn't a double layout. If you are not doing an E skill it has to be connected into something. The skill was credited for less so she lost start value points.
The rest of her routine was excellent though

If these are the routines we get from Jeffrey and Aleah, LSU is in much better shape this year on bars.
If they can develop Cowan or get Dunne back by the end of the year, the 2nd spot will be even better.

I think he needs to pull alyona for floor - she is likely rattled now. Also, I think the vault scoring was mildly tight for us - on kiya and Elena, but the judging seems more equal between the teams this week than last. I think Kentucky has gotten a few gifts in bars, probably one or two more than we did.

Definitely opened herself up for deductions with the step back but 9.75 was a little too harsh.
Also, I think its crazy that Kiya and KJ got the same vault score. Makes no sense to me. That is not differentiating routines...

Yeah, I was thinking more like 9.8 or 9.85 and Kiya should’ve gotten a better score too. Oh well..

I thought 0.1 for short landing and 0.1 for step. I had a 9.80.

It was a good bars lineup but it would be better if we could shuffle some routines. Imagine what haleigh would have gotten if Alexis or kiya had been in front of her.
