I can’t say that they move better or worse. I’ve got two plush box stands and one has a shingle roof. I can’t think of anything more relaxing than sitting in that stand in the rain on a cold morning. I’ve killed plenty in the rain but I thinks it’s because I stay longer on those days.

Yep, a couple things happen in a rain that makes it probably the best time to hunt. To clarify, not a down pour, but a light steady rain, or off/on showers. First, the deer think it’s night time, they know it’s safe to come out, for whatever reason. Second, the atmosphere flips, and ozone is at ground level, it’s not the rain that hides your scent……also, it’s usually associated with a front, and deer love to move as that rain/front move in….Think of it this way, it’s the only time you can legally hunt deer at night……
