I've completely lost my leupold love. I only recommend that exact model anymore, and only because my personal experience with 2 of them has been great. Both have a good many miles on them and ive never had to adjust either one. I think thats a good scope for a normal hunting rifle at a good price point.

I've got mad love for SWFA since finding them. Great reliability and low price? Sign me up.

I've only ever used one of those from that time frame and can't recall how amazing it was or wasn't. I was just sighting in a rifle for a guy that had one, and my eyes are far from optic snob eyes. I'd be surprised if basically everything out now isnt as good or better as that was. Even $500 scopes have REALLY good glass across the board these days best I can tell.
