I live in Ocean Springs and I’m a residents of Ocean Springs Facebook group. I swear every week someone posts “Hey, guys, we’re new here from :insert northern/midwestern state:”They all seem trashy as hell too.
I wish we could cap our population and close the city to new residents. The influx of people that have moved here in the last ten years is ridiculous.

The population hasn't changed much in the last 10 years at all. And after all it's still Mississippi. Trust me I know most of you do not know what the word travel means, but the MS Gulf Coast/OS is not as nice as you people think it is

I know Florida has also seen a large influx of people who have moved there in the last few years.
I’m wondering if the North Carolina, South Carolina and coastal areas of Georgia have also seen a large increase in people moving there.
