Can you not watch a game on TV or in person and tell if a QB is going through progressions? Maybe you’re the moron here if you can’t discern that aspect of the game. It’s fairly easy to tell if a QB is scanning the field or if he is just locked in on 1 or 2 guys.

Not without knowing the damn plays called and what his reads are .

Just stop... youre making yourself look worse.

and that's what you saw from a qb with the best single season qb rating in lsu history before burrow?
Just tap out. ... youre getting curb stomped.
So which is it.... your eyes from a tv broadcast or friends in the program?
Nothing in jruss collegiate qb play showed ignorance or an inability to read a defense.
Same wonderlic as mahomes, highest completion % and qb rating in lsu history prior to burrow, glowing words from his college oc years after he was gone. But yeah your TV viewing is accurate.
Where does the 4 technique line up without google?

Yall really cant understand that he took the loss by running out of bounds and then only after the play was dead did he remember to throw the ball away?

Yeah I've seen successful nfl qbs do that. It isn't a sign of ignorance. It's called playing a fast paced game.

Im not saying whether it has anything to do with jamarcus' intelligence, im just wondering why yall jumping all over the poster when it was obvious as to what he was saying

Agree with your post. Thanks for taking the time to write it so I don't have to.
JaMarcus was awesome as our QB. Used to love watching him play.

I saw a QB rely on possibly the most talented arm in football history

Both. I trust both a lot more than Rickdaddy from the rant as I stated earlier.

Angry deflection. People go here when they’re wrong and can’t provide facts. You’re just shouting from the rooftops with no knowledge or proof to back up anything you’re saying.

glowing words from his college oc years after he was gone

Why are you saying I'm angry? I couldn't be more relaxed.
Someone that can gauge a qbs prowess through tv viewing or stadium viewing( even worse because you don't have replay or up close view) should at least know where the 4 technique lines up.

Who are these elite arm qbs that aren't relying on elite arm talent?

Ok ... just so you know.. you sound stupid when you say you can watch a qb on TV and know whether he is going through his progressions correctly.
There is a reason scouts get all 22 film from schools.

Nothing?
#1 draft pick
Glowing words from successful OC
Single season completion % record
Single season passing td record
Single season qb rating
Numerous nfl teams wanting him as qb pick
Same wonderlic as mahomes
But yeah I have nothing... now please tell us what your back up is?
Oh yeah TV viewing and "friends" in the program

You don’t have to believe me. I don’t believe most of the opinions like yours I read on the rant either. Just stating what was told to me by people in the program. If you think I’m arguing about the type of player JR was, then you’re mistaken. He is still one of the most naturally gifted players I’ve ever seen. He didn’t prepare or study film like he should have which was admitted by him and corroborated by the blank tape story from the raiders.

I gave facts... you gave opinions.
But sure

Raiders jruss and lsu jruss isn't the same.
He got paid and then every guiding person close to him died.
I'll never argue raiders jruss. But lsu jruss was a great qb.

15 years later, half of this board still hates Jamarcus Russell. Amazing.

Well he was an assclown with his purple drank.
As an LSU fan, he was humiliating.

Seems like you’ve run into a Rant narrative. It’s amazing how a couple of lies stick with some and become reality to them. Everything that poster is saying is false but he isn’t trolling. He believes it because this place is constantly creating things like that and pushing them. A long time ago we were considered a “smart fan” base but we aren’t anymore.
