We went last fall in mid September. Was a nice day, also not many people due to Covid still slowing tourism.
I could see where it would be a hot miserable place in the summer.

Thanks for the input everyone. Not really sure where we are are going to stay yet other than Positano but this is some good info to help make that decision.
