In that area:
Italian: Antoni’s small, family owned. Good pizza and calzones (our family favorite)
Italian: cafe bella
Italian again: Marcelo’s (date night)
Steak: Ruth’s Chris
Louisiana upscale: Cafe Vermillionville
Breakfast: Edie’s or Hub City

The Cajun Benedict (or whatever that is) is probably my favorite brunch I have ever eaten.

They made it very clear in 2016 that they didn’t want most of the population of Louisiana to eat there. I haven’t been back since. frick them.

Arguably the worst Mexican food in Lafayette

It wasn’t fantastic but a stuffed and bacon wrapped chicken breast was better than I expected. The wife liked her margarita on the rocks. It wasn’t a bad experience before rock n bowl and a Bordens waffle cone I suppose

If you were downtown and did rock-n-bowl, you missed the perfect opportunity to eat at Pamplona Tapas. The combination of outstanding Food and drink selection is one of the best in Lafayette
