They go out of their way to add these pronouns, point out gender-neutral/non-binary crap, and also point out non-hetero sexuality when it’s unnecessary and not relevant to article.

Never seen this crap before but I'm not surprised by it. The NYT and other major media allies are doing everything they can to normalize the rewriting of the English language by the mentally ill.
