To clean that up a little, it appears the logs documenting Stermon’s high level access to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is what has gone missing, not the records over the investigation into sexual misconduct.
It still raises many questions about why someone who was not a LEO had such high level access to the Sheriff’s Department.

His sheriff/police access was covered up. Reporters exposed his badge accesses then they suddenly disappeared.

Wrong. There is a rumor he may have molested a kid in state custody which is why the access logs matter. In other words, the logs are an investigation of his sexual misconduct.

Therefore the program didn't include non-employees in the badge access report. Outside employees with badge access come from a different report. 4: The guy offing himself and getting accused of having sex with a minor is certainly a glittery story but this "missing records" nonsense is manufactured bullshite. The records aren't missing. Once a qualified person (not a $15/hr democrat) ran the query, the data was found and handed over to the people requesting it.
