Flying the drone over a duck hole today and spotted a blonde phase hen mallard. Anyone on here shot one of those?

Dads buddy killed one around monroe in the timber back in the early 2000’s. That one went straight to the taxidermist - neat bird.

Bird on the left is the oldest bird in the eastern population according to the Whooping Crane Foundation. Hatched in 2002.

Little of everything in there. Including a domestic or hybrid it looks like

Saw one in Concordia Pariah two mornings in a row in a group of 8-10 birds. They wouldn’t quite finish but she stuck out like a sore thumb.

Man these are awesome. I have seen a white or "blonde" mallard on a wall before but have no idea who or when it was shot. I know it was on the Lake though. I did recently see some outdoor channel post some picture of one. Keep these photos coming.
