Neither could Drew Brees. Need an OC to call the right plays.

Late career Brees still light years better on the deep ball than most QBs. You don’t have the career he had dinking and dunking the ball.

I didn't believe it when Woke fans were comparing him to Burrow, but now he is better than Brees?

Need a QB to take the extra time (outside of normal practice) with his receivers to build skill, muscle memory and mutual trust.

The OC is the reason JD did as well as he did this year. He started the year with the whole play book on JD's plate and JD couldn't eat all his dinner. Denbrock scaled it down, simplified his reads, route options and it helped him out. Drew always mentally had "it" but couldn't actually physically do it the last couple years of his career. JD couldn't do it mentally ( wouldn't throw into tight windows or didn't throw on time because he wanted to see the receiver wide open and it led to incomplete passes or pass break ups ) and physically ( inaccuracy on deep balls ), there's a difference. There were 3-4 games he did do well.
