Are you familiar with how being a hostage works?

The advice was for the employee first and foremost.

That’s a really bad shot if you miss that badly.

- He probably means the hostage herself would like to be armed in that moment. I would if I were a hostage, but that’s just me.

- The hostage taker is a rookie at her craft. She’s standing an arms length away from the hostage. No bueno. She should have the hostage right in front of her with the gun to her head. That’s hostage taking basics 101.

The woman holding her hostage was standing next to her with arm stretched out. You have a good 2 feet buffer if you can’t make that shot then you shouldn’t be carrying.

If she was standing behind the hostage then I would agree

I could make that shot. When I did my ccp class I shot the required and then 2 magazines from pretty much that distance and my grouping was 4" center silhouette

I could make that shot 10/10 and would certainly have fired my weapon.

Are you kidding?

Girl with the gun is completely exposed. Wearing bright pink to highlight center mass.

Stevie Wonder could make that shot.

I would have pulled the trigger until no more bullets were in the magazine.

If I was a cop on scene for that incident, I can assure you, cocksure, that my single shot would hit the hostage taker precisely, -and safely for any bystanders or the victim,- on target.
