Its one thing if a recruits only driving factor is the most money, but If a coaching staff knows a recruit has his heart set on another school, yet they say to the kid "I understand that, but we're willing to pay you X amount more" and its too much for the kid (or their family) to turn down....every coach that does that deserves for that player to not align and then enter the portal after year 1.
Maybe Im naive but Id think coaches would be wary about bringing in a kid who had his heart set on playing for an opponent and was only willing to come to their school for more money (or because their family pressured them to take the extra money). Seems like recipe for backfiring ala 8&4.

I think it’s 50/50. No one knows what’s going on. We will see tomorrow afternoon. Kid could be doing all this and sign with Deion or something. Imma let it rest. If he goes to Bama, we will be okay. With the exception of Landon Collin’s and Surtain most recruits that pull this bs with us don’t pan out. If he’s in crimson I hope BTJ mosses the shite out of him next season.

I’ve tried to let this one go and hope for the best. LSU will be fine regardless of his decision.

It’s weird watts hasn’t come out with anything yet. In years past with battles like this, he would have a pick in about 7 or 8 the day before the announcement.
