there have been more weather games at the Indy bowl than nice days
The Peach bowl was on the verge of collapse until they built the Ga Dome. For the same reason.

quote:Ditto. It was 40° but the rain made it pretty miserable.
I was also at the 1997 game against Notre Dame when it was 40 degrees and raining.
Used to go to every game with friends before I moved away in '97. One called me up thus weekend past, he lives in Houston, now, and said he was getting the old gang together to attend this year. I told him to enjoy it, but my old arse ain't sitting out in 20° weather with the wind blowing. I really could do without pneumonia at this stage of my life, so why FAFO for this stupid game?

Going for a repeat of 2000?
Was there and it was glorious. Very rare occurrence that a Mississippi State team would get to play in snow. We wore all white that night, and at times when it was snowing hard I could barely see our players. Great game that went to OT. In OT the game was tied 35-35. Faggies score to go up 41-35, but not only do we block the kick we return it for 2 cutting the score from 41-37. State QB Wayne Madkin then ran it in on our first play of OT to give the Dawgs the win 43-41. It was December 31, so me and the wife rang in the New Year at the Bossier City Waffle House after the game.

My son, T-Bubba got media credentials and was at the teams welcome party at their hotels and the party down at the river front. A small ruckus happened. LOL

Don't all the players still get gifts from all the bowls?
