And it’s not even close. Much better story, better villain, much more Christmas with real snow!

It actually snows and the film is based around an airport at the holidays.

Hate to burst the bubble but most of the “real snow” was fake snow. I was vacationing in Colorado at the time they were filming scenes. They were using Denver airport and had casting calls to have people bring their luggage to the airport that could be used for filming. That year in Colorado was one of the warmest winters. Some scenes had real snow but majority was fake.
Fake snow was used on the slopes. We went to various different ski resorts to when the snow would be falling and would be fresh.

Die Hard 2 is a good movie, an excellent sequel, but not better than the first one. Die Hard With A Vengeance is on par with Die Hard 2.
