Didn't USC have the 2004 National Championship vacated?
ETA: Ah the BCS Stripped them of the title but AP still considers USC the 2004 Champion. Typical.

During the BCS era, the AP poll was nothing but a component of the BCS formula. There was no such thing as an AP national championship.
