They will still be the 2nd week of December but Tuesday-Thursday as opposed to Thursday-Saturday.

Also replay for the finals will be discussed .

Not so much that but really a relief being that this has been a point of contention here for the last 5 years.

So schools will have playoff games on Friday and Saturday and then play in title games just 4 days later? I swear the GHSA could frick up a wet dream.

I'm sure it has to do w/other scheduled events at MBS on the weekend.

The finals have been moved indoors, finally, let's all just take a minute to be grateful that it finally happened instead of finding something else to bitch about.

Why is it good they’ve been moved indoors?

Check out the weather from this last weekend (especially Friday ) and you'll understand why.

Will this move stop refs from signaling TD when the ball carrier is tackled at the 2 yard line?

Every state with a pro stadium should have its high school championships in that pro stadium.

It’s the least the professional leagues can do for bending over taxpayers for decades and getting exemptions from clear violations of antitrust law.

Yep.

But to be clear, this was never on Blank. This is was a union contract issue w/MBS.

FL's are usually in the Citrus Bowl or the Swamp but this year it was in some 5500 seat HS "stadium" in Tally.

It was raining so hard at the end of the 4A title game that Cedartown, losing 14-13, decided to go for it on 4th and goal at the 1 with :03 left instead of try a field goal.

ETA: This was a picture I found from the postgame celebration, just to give you an idea.

Ohio's championship games are held at the Hall of Fame. Besides Canton being a shithole, that's cooler than playing at the Browns or Bengals stadiums, IMO.

Pennsylvania has theirs at Cumberland Valley Stadium, not Lincoln Financial or Heinz, but a glorified high school Stadium.

And this is the state that has produced more NFL HoF'ers than any other.

In California the top divisions played championship games at an Orange County junior college. The lower divisions basically had home games.
