You are claiming that he is suggesting that under no circumstances could a woman share blame for being hit by a man. He has stated that there ARE times when he would share blame with the woman. Just not this time.

I think it’s pretty clear, and I’ve stated as much, that both are responsible for the outcome. If she hadn’t instigated a physical confrontation, none of this would have occurred. If he hadn’t lost his cool and put his hands on her, he wouldn’t have gone to jail.
I think we can all agree on that much.
He should have dumped her years ago.

Primarily because she admittedly spent the entire day angry that he wouldn’t talk to her, and instead of giving him his space - she walked into a spare bedroom, where he was attempting to avoid her, and instigated a physical confrontation in order to get a reaction. Because she “became upset.” She’s a psychopath.
You’re clearly projecting. The logical conclusion is she was an angry, irrational woman that didn’t think of the consequences of her actions and didn’t expect Beard to retaliate with violence. What does she gain by having Beard arrested?

If what is being alleged is true this is kind of ludicrous based on the reaction of Beard. At one point would she stop being responsible for the outcome? If he killed her and drug her body through the streets like a parade would you still be saying “shouldn’t have snatched those glasses, bitch” lol

I’m interested to see the back story, for sure.
I’m betting he was attempting to break off their relationship, which is why he spent the previous two days ignoring her and went into a spare bedroom when he got home.
If that’s the case, this all makes perfect sense. Revenge of the psycho.

The law clearly agrees, and I posted as much. She initiated physical contact by forcibly taking something from his hands. Then, in a fit of rage, she broke that item.
You clearly struggle with words and their meanings.

I apologize for even slightly lumping you in with this bama dude. He's legit unhinged

Don’t confuse causation with justification. If what she alleges is true, there is certainly a disparity between the two sets of actions.
As it stands, what we know is that she initiated the confrontation and the outcome didn’t match the level of aggression she presented if what she’s stated is true.

I may have done a poor job of highlighting the nuance of my point, which was more about the broader issue, in general of absolving people of their poor behavior, when someone comes in over-the-top with worst behavior. Basically if given the choice don’t spend time with anyone who is giving you reason to hit them lol.

Just to be clear: you are of the opinion that forcibly taking something out of someone’s hands is not considered physical contact?

I have an incredible investment opportunity for you. It’s a jump to conclusions mat. I’ll send you a prototype.

And subsequently removed herself from it, and even tried to reconcile with him 10-15 minutes later. He responded by throwing her around the room and choking her from behind.
That's not a crime of passion. He sat there for 10-15 minutes boiling up to exact his revenge.

I don’t think it’s much of a jump. Anyone here who is willing to argue that these are the thoughts and actions of a rational woman is selling something for sure.

You kinda have to make physical contact for it to be physical contact.
For example, when he slapped her face and knocked her glasses off, he made physical contact.

Mr. Beard, maybe you should stop posting and get some sleep tonight.

I'm going off the warrant. You're going off your years of being rejected by women which has led you to view all women as assault baiting psychopaths.

And forcibly taking something out of someone’s hands doesn’t meet that criteria. Is that right?
