Is there anything to the talk possibly associating shingles with the Covid-19 vax? Vague rumors that more of all ages are getting shingles than normal-- whether vax related or not?

Not that I'm aware of.

Unfortunately this is where the medical bullshite gets amplified though. Complications to a treatment may be rare, but if the media-medical community lie about those, they lose all credibility. Across a spectrum of 330 million people, oddities will arise. Rare syndromes will occur.

Suddenly though, if those are layered over a large proportion of the population receiving a questionable vax. The vax is suspect/blamed for each of the naturally issues. That suspicion is warranted. But it may well lead away from cause.

I posted about a week or two ago that my PCP said that this is the most common vax adverse event they are seeing and that she has treated more cases of shingles the past 2 yrs than in her entire career (approx 15yrs).
