uTurnbids.com is a new sponsor for TigerDroppings.com. uTurnbids.com uses a reverse bid auction system. Here's how it works:

The lowest, unique bid wins the auction. You buy the item for the cost of your winning bid. Bid as many times as you would like before the auction ends. It costs $1 per bid.

Example:
Person A bids $4.13
Person B bids $5.01
Person C bids $4.13
Person D bids $6.40

Person B would win because he had the lowest bid, and no one else bid that amount.

Featured Auction:
quote:

Four (4) Tickets to the LSU-Alabama Football Game
See the biggest game of the year. Four (4) chair back 35-yard line seats, together in section 302 in Tiger Stadium. The date of the game is November 8th at 2:30pm. Free Priority Overnight Shipping Guaranteed by 10:30 A.M. Saturday to the winning bidder OR can be picked up at Red Stick Sports in Baton Rouge Saturday morning. Hurry Auction Ends Friday!

Starting bidding now at uTurnbids.com

uTurnbids.com is based out of Baton Rouge. Thank you for supporting our sponsor.

I hate to correct Mutha clucker, (not really , I love it) but your example is incorrect. 4.13 would not be "unique."
You have to be the only one to bid the lowest amount. You have to "neek" up on it.

Looks like you would pay $2.01 and the $1.00 bid cost. In order to make money then, there needs to be a large # of bids. Too bad I can't see a "bid history."

it tells you how many people have made bids. Therefore, if you bid .01 though .99 you would spend less than $100 and would more than likely win the tix...

I think it tells you how many unique bids have been made. There could a lot more non-unique bids made.

Maybe...depends on the number of bidders and their strategies.

I went one amount under $1 and one amount over. We shall see what happens.
