NC State baseball also got pulled from the CWS, that was so fricked up.
They were playing some of the best baseball in the tournament that year. Imagine being that close to a championship & told you have to go home.

At the time I thought we had entered peak clown world. It’s still one of the most egregiously unfair things I’ve ever seen in all my years of watching competitive athletics. Yet another blight on NCAA “leadership”
