A major part of the reason I don't have more 747's in my flight log. DL wasn't flying them when I was traveling a bunch with my dad as a kid, and once they got some in the merger with Northwest, I was in high school/college so no jetting off to Asia.

Can't tell you how many L1011's I've flown on though

Never had the pleasure. One of my favorite airliners. Lockheed didn't build many good airliners, but that was one of them.

I'm from Monroe and a Delta history geek.


If you haven't already done it and you get the chance, go check out the museum in Atlanta. The 747 display is awesome.
