My wife is interested in learning golf. What is a good beginner set of clubs and where would you recommend buying them? I’ve also began researching Operation 36 in the Nola area. Anyone have any experience with it? TIA

There’s a pro in Kansas City who focuses on growing the game, especially with women.

Three Jack National is his home course, but he has a good website with next level instruction.

Uses 7-4-7 and stack and jilt.

Clubs are going to be tough while she’s starting out. Cobra makes a women’s full set, bag and all. That’s probably a good place to start.

Most manufacturers make a decent set of women's clubs.. The TaylorMade Kalea's are worth looking at , Ping GLe2 or Cobra T-Rails..

Now lessons, how close to BR are you.. I can recommend a couple this direction, but towards Nola.. no clue

Buy her a used 7iron off of eBay. If she gets really into it, buy a used set from Calloway Preowned website. Take her to GolfTec for an initial swing analysis to see if she’s interested. GolfTec is great for beginners.
