Or he may not. Arky and TAMU were wakeup calls for me so far as his ability to get the team focused, especially with so much on the line. Jury of course is still out on CBK

Duck and dodge? Oh, I get it, you’re making more shite up. My bad sometimes it surprises me how pathetic you are.

No I’m sure the odds are in his favor that he’s right and BK is wrong.

It’s really comical that some here believe the HC who took over a depleted program, who beat Bama, and who got us to Atlanta picked the wrong QB to lead the team.

Daniels had a tremendous season for us, he led the team in rushing, was player of the week v Bama, and who threw for over 200 yards in a half v #1 Georgia on one leg; yet it was a mistake to start him.

Now I hope Nuss uses this game as a platform and goes out and improves to the point where he beats Daniels out. He was electric last night at a time we needed a spark. But I don’t think BK needs our help to find out who is best.

It's OP the same guy at the beginning of the season that said JD has plateaued and can't get better, and then we all watched the season play out and JD got better and better?

You can’t dispute that taking one game as a deciding factor on how a QB would have been had he stated all year so you start deflecting. It’s a nice try on your behalf, but we all see through your bullshite.

Nuss was playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers. Can't even get a pulse on how good or bad he is. One thing for sure, he is slow as molasses compared to JD.

He got better and better and then got worse and worse.

Georgia also didn’t have film to watch on him or even prepare to face him. Add that to the fact that they were up 25 points, their defense wasn’t exactly playing very aggressive. But no, I’m sure Nuss would have done that all year to every team we played. God, how stupid is BK? Orgeron would have never made that mistake.

He did? How so. Still cannot decipher a defense or see a blitz coming. How often did he check out of a play. How many sacks did he take. He cannot make many of the throws, for multiple reasons, that we saw Nuss make look easy last night. It must be an emotional thing with you. Right?

Using your logic we should’ve kicked Nuss off the team after the Southern game

Hope they both stick around. May the best man win.

And I didn’t, all I said was that claiming a coach is infallible because he’s a coach is flawed logic. Of course you and yours came running with ad hominem attacks to defend that logic. Then came the straw men as per usual.

Is having the QB lead the team in rushing necessarily a good thing? I do not think so. He led in rushing because he CANNOT pass effectively.

Nora fair stat. By nature a running QB is going to take more sacks regardless of how good they are. Patrick Mahomes is a damn good running QB and he takes more sacks than most pocket passers. But I dare you to find a team in the NFL that wouldn’t take him over their current QB. You won’t find many if any that wouldn’t take him.

It’s also not a fair statistic because runing QBs also get way more designed run plays for them. If it’s a designed run they they are technically more of a running back than a QB so any sack is really more of a “tackle for loss” like it would be against a running back.

What a supremely stupid statement. I thought at first you meant Daniels. That would have been rational. Daniels cannot play QB.

Uh, literally no one said a coach is infallible. Talk about straw man….

We just pointed out that the odds are in favor of BK knowing what’s best for the team over some random internet guy. I’m sorry you can’t understand that simple concept.

and yet he took a team that went 6-6 last year to an SEC championship game. Weird….

Two truths exist.

1. Nuss balled out last night and it was good to see

2. Jayden was the best option at QB for this team team in 2022.

Next year is a totally different year and Nuss or Howard is probably the best option moving forward.

No disagreement here. I think there are at least two schools of thought about what a QB should be able to do. One school is that he should bounce on his toes for several seconds prior to abandoning a clean pocket and take off. Often this results in a sack, sometimes a nice gain.

The other school posits that the QB should read the field and find the open receiver, if any, by going through progressions, keep eyes down field when scrambling and run only when necessary.

Which do you favor?

No you didn’t, you parroted a statement that because a coach is the coach he’s always right. The “odds are in favor” comment came later as you backtracked and tried to amend the initial statement.
