re: What license is needed for a non resident quail hunting Mississippi?

Back in 1983, group of us decided to go squirrel hunting in Mississippi for the opening weekend. All hands licensing. Few squirrels Saturday. Steaks and drinks sat night.

Then on Sunday.......as we dispersed at first light with shotguns in hand, along comes the game warden collecting all ten of us to go to the local judges house where he holds court for the crime of hunting on Sunday . Fined us each a hundred dollars each, cash only.

As we are leaving the judge suggest we do so carefully because there is a state trooper a mile down the road
